There is a fun Christmas light show in Cottonwood Heights, just a few minutes off the I-215. We visited Christmas in Cottonwood tonight and we were impressed with all the lights in their yard. They had lights on everything in their front yard, even a tree on the opposite side of the driveway. They also had lights in their backyard that were part of the show, including a U for the University of Utah, and some lights that were strung on their camping trailer.
There were 5 songs that you listened to on the radio (station 87.9) including “Let it Go” from Frozen and Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime”, which is one of our personal favorites. We pulled to the side of the road opposite the house and watched from the comfort of our car. We watched through the show twice because our boys enjoyed it so much. The lights moved well with the music and there were lots of colors, as well as different types of lights too. Our favorite was a tree that did different things in red and white–watch for it in the video below. We were also impressed with the large trees in their yard. They definitely made the light show impressive.
They run the show from 6-10 pm every night, and they even leave it running until 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. This is a great show and worth the stop!
