We visited Hee Haw Farms on a field trip today. This pumpkin patch is located in Pleasant Grove and has a lot of fun activities. The most popular activity with the preschool children was the huge slide. This was one of those massive gunny sack slides. My boys went on over and over again. There are other activities, too: bean bag toss games, tether ball, corn pit, wagon ride, corn maze, and a straw maze. My boys always loving digging, swimming in, and jumping into the corn pit. There were plenty of activities to keep the children busy for a few hours.

The wagon ride was only down the field and back again, but the kids loved sitting in the straw for the ride!
Something that was different here at Hee Haw Farms was their petting zoo. Most places have animals to look at and pet through the fence. But here you walk into a large area with the animals, much like the petting zoos I remember as a kid. There were goats, sheep, and a few ducks. They also had pigs who had just had piglets to view, but not touch. We spent a lot of time petting the animals.
Hee Haw Farms had some places for photo options including cutouts for faces, as well as tractors and pumpkins. Entrance fees are $10/person for ages 3 and older.
Something to watch for at Hee Haw Farms are events all year long. They have activities going on in the spring and summer. You can find more info on their website. There are also family specials on the site, too. Hee Haw Farms is located in Pleasant Grove. Take Pleasant Grove Blvd exit and head East. Turn left at the first light. Hee Haw Farms will be on the east (right) side of the road just past the Evermore Pumpkin Fest that just opened.
