Thanksgiving Point Lights

(Last Updated On: November 15, 2018)

****Thanksgiving Point no longer does their holiday light drive through. Their light display has moved to the Ashton Gardens and is called Luminaria. ****

We headed to our local Thanksgiving Point Lights display last night.  This light display is a little more expensive than Spanish Fork’s Holiday Lights, but it is a lot closer to our house in Lehi ($10/car instead of $5, unless you have a membership–then it is half-price).  When you drive through, you are closer to the lights, but there are fewer lights to see than at Spanish Fork.   One thing that sets this display apart from others is that it ends with a Nativity scene, pictures, and words about the birth of Jesus Christ.  They also have wagon rides, trolley rides, and carriage rides for different rates.   After you see the lights, you can stop by the water tower to see the reindeer for free. And you can also pair your visit to the lights with their ice carving demonstrations.

Thanksgiving Point is located off the Alpine/Highland exit, right by the point of the mountain.  And here are the prices for other modes of transportation through the lights.:

Car – $10
Large vehicle (13 or more passengers) – $20
Carriage (reservation only) $40
Walk-up  Wagon – $4 per person (subject to availability)
Reserved Wagon– $100
Reserved Trolley – $100

– Thanksgiving Point members receive a 50% discount on car admissions and 10% off reserved trolley and wagon.
– No discounts for walk-up wagon rides.
– No trolley or wagon reservations available on or after Christmas Eve.
To make a reservation, call 801.768.2300. No reservation needed for cars.

There are some huge displays!

Our boys love the dinosaurs!

We love when the lights “jump” over the car!

There are a ton of lights!

After you pass Santa, there is a nativity scene.
